Guess what! Sister borrowed a super TINY netbook from her friend so we didn't have to share one laptop anymore. But she's using mine now because she needs Excel on my laptop to do her online spree stuff. So I'm using this!

It's totally small! Everything is small! The keyboard is so small my gigantic hands are having a hard time typing!

There was supposed to be a meteor shower from 3-5am (so exciting!!), so Sister and I wanted to stay up hoping to catch it. I went to sleep first (we were gonna take turns) but she woke me up at 4am or so telling me we couldn't see anything from our area. But apparently some of her friends could see it. And I had the camera all ready to film it. Too bad. ):

Today was another day of shopping! It turned out pretty much fruitless if I were to consider the more urgent things I should be buying. I saw this pair of shoes at Charles & Keith at J8 but it was either too big or too small. So Mom and I went to various other outlets - Wisma and Plaza Sing - which didn't even have that design. We're gonna try woodlands tomorrow.

I know it's about time to post pictures, but I think that'll be delayed. I'm gonna be busy this whole week with "intensive shopping" and all that.

bang, bang, i shot you down
Tuesday, November 17, 2009

I spent 4 and a half hours at the hair salon today. I had no idea it took this long for rebonding. Luckily, I brought a book along to read.

Hair smells nice. Still not used to the straightness of it. My bangs keep splitting up because I've been parting my hair the same side for too long. Mom says to hold the annoying fringe in place with a curler. I'm gonna do that later.

I can't wash my hair for two days. ):

Went to town with Mom and Sis yesterday. They kept saying they didn't like the dress I bought, and constantly dragged me into more shops to look for another dress, so much so that I'm already starting to regret buying that dress. Is my dress sense really that bad??

As if the school didn't make it anymore difficult with stupid rules like no tubes, no low-cuts, no dresses above knees. Like whose prom is it, ours or the teachers'?

So far, I've bought stockings and a plain mask on which I'm gonna decorate, but I've yet to find the kind of shoes I want. And I need to go polish my teeth! But I don't know where to go. ):

How was my first full day of freedom?

Despite all the free time I'm having, I didn't have a chance to go online yesterday.

My dear Sister was hogging the laptop the whole afternoon and night. It is unofficially mine, since Dad decided he didn't want to learn to use the laptop anymore and let me have it instead.

Her laptop has gone bonkers for good and so she uses mine, which I didn't mind at all while I was having my exams. But it's different now that I don't have any studying to do.

Take yesterday for example. I spent my whole day watching TV (thankfully Dad had cable tv installed a month ago). I really didn't have anything else to do especially since Sister was using the laptop.
Knowing her un-automatic-ness, looks more like I would have to ask to use my own laptop. What irony!

But I wasn't going to do that. I wanted to see how long before she would unhook herself from the laptop.
She didn't. She didn't even ask - didn't even care - if I wanted to use the laptop at all. The only time when I could sort of use my laptop was when I requested to watch Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, which we watched together. That doesn't count because I didn't even use the laptop!

And so, here I am now, because she's gone for class till 5.30pm. I'm afraid I won't be online again tonight.

This is utterly pathetic.

Last Friday 13th of the Year
Friday, November 13, 2009

I figured I should also blog about today. It didn't even occur to me that it's Friday the 13th until some teacher mentioned it this morning. Somehow my brain didn't connect Friday with 13. Lol.

Jac, WanYee and I went to Toa Payoh to shop for makeup! We had KFC breakfast first.

Later we decided to go to Bugis. It was totally impromptu because we initially planned to go to WanYee's house.

On the way there, we got followed by some indian uncle. (disclaimer: not being racist, just stating facts) Caught him staring at our legs, so we moved to another cabin, and he alighted at City Hall where we alighted too. And later he came close to us, like behind/beside while waiting for the train. We quickly walked far far away and he never followed already. Thank God.

That aside, I never walked so much in such a long time until today. Jac and I tried on dresses. WanYee didn't because she's long gotten hers. I'm still not used to seeing myself in a dress, let alone them. Lol. Jac tried on this white dress and she looked so cute in it!!
Later after A LOT of consideration and walking about from bugis junction to bugis street, we decided to go back and by our prom dresses. Jac bought the purple one instead. :D :D :D

I'm crossing my fingers I won't have regrets/second thoughts about it. I came back home and Mom complained about the quality of the inner cloth. At least it wasn't very expensive. :D

Okay. Prom dress, check. Makeup, check. Now I need to get shoes and accessories!

11:39 PM

i'd also like to say

that it's really this HUGE sigh of relief.

Jac, WanYee and I were like talking about how empty we feel now that we don't even need to touch a single textbook/stack of notes for about two months.
Like, hmmm, don't I have something more important to do? Oh wait, I don't! O levels have ended! :D

Before/during O's, I planned all the things I want to do after O's. And now that it's after O's, and I don't even know where to start!
But I know I have to fill in this one-month gap in the timeline of my blog as briefly as possible because I don't want to bore anyone out, and I'm kind of tired too.

I know it's nearly a month ago, but I'd like to publicly thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday /(and) gave me presents on the day I had to sit for my German listening paper. Omg, I never expected Claudia to send me my present by mail! Now we have Best Friends Earphones. :D And it was fun with Jac and WanYee even though our lit study session failed. Hahahaha. Really, thanks everyone! It meant a lot to me. :D

During the past month, we met up a few times to study. I made a new friend, YihShuan, whom I found out is someone I've already met last year! She was in the same group as me for the hcco interaction. :)

Hmmm, there's nothing much else. Practically spent my days sitting in the study room, staring at textbooks/notes/doing practice papers. Any longer and my butt will be growing big and flat. Ewww.

A while ago, I gathered the A Math, E Math, Chem and Bio papers into one pile and it's thicker than the stack of blank A4 papers you buy for printing. And it's just the prelim papers from other schools and the whatever extra materials given in the "intense revision" week alone. I thought, wow, imagine the number of trees one single O Level student killed.

Well, not to worry, because I'm going to send them for recycling. Like who wouldn't?

It feels good to be back online. :D

10:52 PM

i'd first like to say

HELLO FREEDOM!!

10:30 PM

Of Hugs and Love Packs
Friday, October 09, 2009

Hello world! Just so you know I'm not dead yet. Lol.

I know I'm like sinning BIG TIME for coming online at this point of time. But hey, from coming online everyday to not touching the laptop for a whole week is an amazing feat in itself. :P

I didn't want to break my not-using-the-laptop-for-as-long-as-possible record but I just HAD to blog about today. This is gonna be a lengthy one!

Today was Reflection Day for sec 4s, and it's also the last official school day for us. So yeah, it's kind of sad, come to think about it.

Anyway, reflection day was something like last year's. THEY EVEN USED THE SAME ABBA SONGS. Not that I care, really. At one point, Gurung scolded us because too many people were going to the toilet during the songs.
Jac, HiuMin, some other person I forgot, and I just so happened to be standing in front of her outside the drama studio when she started scolding us. It was quite funny because we didn't know whether we should continue walking to the toilet or stay there. So we stood there and looked at each other for a few seconds, then decided to continue walking. Really needed to pee okay, so you can't blame us.

Then we went back to find her scolding the whole cohort. Totally ruined the mood, and wasted time.

We got free mag-a-cone during recess! Just the sec 4s, yay! :D

Second half of the session, we got to hug friends and teachers. Jac pulled me along to hug the teachers. I hugged Mdm Lee and Mrs Tan (chem). Then Jac started crying which made me cry as well. Hahahaha. Never hug bio teacher! ):
Anyway, it was nice. :) The power of hugs is amazinggggggg.

Then we got our Love Packs from the parents. UBER COOL! It's this credit card, only it's not a credit card, but a "Lifetime Membership" to St Nicks. It even has our NAMES printed on each card! And there's a bigger card with the same credit card material, but there's a poem printed on it, specially written for us by a sec 2's parent. I think it was really sweet. Jac says we're the luckiest batch ever and I totally agree!

Went back to class where the Love Packs were distributed. And we took class photos! Trella was extremely high man. The whole class sang to this korean song which I believe is called I Don't Care.

"4J DON'T CA-A-A-A-A-ARE. WE WANT A-A-A-A-A-As!"

We got that on video by the way.

After that, Jac and I headed to AMK station where we topped up our cards. I'm totally a noob at using my nets card. Lol.
Then we met WanYee at J8 and bought ____'s present!

Went to the usual place to study but we ended up high-ing too much. Today was like the most unproductive study session we've ever had! Hahahhah. We were trying very hard to refrain from laughing out loud in the quiet reading room.

Photobucket
Look at the doodles.

We all left at about 6-6.15pm. I spent 40 minutes shopping for Sis's present alone. -_-

Tomorrow's her birthday! And 6 days later will be mine! (hint! hint!)
I bet hardly anyone'll remember because they are all too busy studying. ):
And I'll be sitting for my German Listening paper on that very day! (It's only 35 minutes and at 8am)

Talking about German, Oral on wednesday was TERRIBLE. HiuMin and I talked over the phone after that, complaining about how bad either of ours went. So hopefully I can have some birthday luck for listening! Hehehehe

See you on November 13!

10:40 PM

Thursday, October 01, 2009

Thank you Joelle, Joan, Jac, WanYee for your encouragements. Love you people! :D

I will work hard and I am going to reach my goal no matter how tough it's going to be.

I must admit the paper that really shocked me was Lit. I never expected myself to get 11 out of 25 for a component. I never even expected myself to get below 15. I was so overwhelmed by anger and frustration, I was close to tearing upon seeing that two lines. What the firetruck. Even people like ____ got 16/25 for that particular component. I felt it was extremely unjust.

PS. Claudia teach me how to score for lit please? thanksssss! Haha.

Urgh, nevermind. Thank God this is prelims and not the real thing, otherwise I can barely get into a poly.

Like I said, I'm going to work hard in these 3-7 weeks.

Study session with Darice, WanYee and Jac after school today. Rather fun, but we sat for such a long time our butts went numb.

From this moment on, I shall neglect Facebook, and resist coming online everyday.

Pressure
Tuesday, September 29, 2009

The pressure is really starting to sink in now.

Got back HCL, maths, english and chemistry papers so far.

Having an F9 in your prelim results is definitely not something you'd like. I'm not gonna say which subject, but I'm sure you'll know if you've been following my posts.

All I have to say is that I could have done better. I should have tried harder, but I didn't. Disappointment? Yes. Regrets? No, because I deserved it.

My official German Oral exam is next wednesday, my earliest O Level "paper". I skipped german lesson last week and this week there won't be any. I'm literally on my own now.

Not going to let my dream slip through my fingers.

No more F's, D's, C's and B's. There'll only be A's now.

3 weeks, Jessica. 3 weeks to polish 9 subjects. Time to wake up.

6:24 PM

900th!
Sunday, September 27, 2009

Yay! My 900th post!

There's something wrong with Esther Flooble. What it says right now is my tagboard doesn't exist. What the hell? So I tried creating a new one like at least ten times but I couldn't. They didn't want to lead me to the page where I can get my tagboard code. Urghh, that's irritating.

I'm not going to replace it with my cbox though. Reason being that flooble's tagboard goes with your blog text colour and there aren't borders/background like cbox. It's transparent! And, well, my cbox colour combination skills aren't that great, as you can see. Lol.

In any case, keep tagging at my cbox for the time being. :D

I had a huge scare today! I thought I needed to finish two situational writing and two comprehensions and summaries by today, so I did one situational writing and one comprehension in the afternoon. I intended to rush out the rest tonight but I received the class message saying it's supposed to be by the next lesson, which isn't anywhere near tomorrow. Henggg ah!
Had me worried for nothing. -_-
Nevertheless, I think I'll finish them tomorrow.

Getting back Maths and HCL papers tomorrow! I'll be damned if I don't get at least a B for Maths.

10:02 PM

I spy with my little eye...
Saturday, September 26, 2009

Yupp, I am now officially sick. Nose is blocked partially and it's annoying. ):

I've agreed to help Kobu post a birthday message to her friend on her LJ, so I'm waiting for midnight.

Went out for supper just now at Thomson Longhouse. Omg I saw my last year's chem teacher johnnyhoo!

Hmm...What else is there?

Oh yeah. Friday was back to lessons. It wasn't too bad. We're getting back our prelim papers next week! It's my final wake up call. If that doesn't wake me up, I don't know what will.

Another thing! Chinese teacher revealed to us our HCL prelim marks. I got a freaking B4! Can you believe it?!?! :O I thought I was going to fail/get a borderline pass at the very most!

Shockingxzxzxz.

youtwitface!
Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Zzzzz. I feel like I'm going to be sick. Which was why I didn't go for german today.

No school for today and tomorrow feels really really great. I felt so liberated immediately after my Add Maths paper 2 ended at 10.30am yesterday. Actually it doesn't even feel like yesterday. It feels like it was on Monday!

But the end of prelims means it's going to be the real thing very very soon! ):

Yeah anyway, I watched part of the Emmys on Monday night.
The part that really got me laughing was when Conan O'Brien (I think) said

In the year 3000: youtube, twitter and facebook will merge to form one super time-wasting website called YOUTWITFACE!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA OMGGGGG YOUTWITFACE!

Whole family's asleep again and I'm entertaining myself with youtube videos.

Hmmm, let's see....

I know people like Kobu Ang will like this. :D

Kids have trouble resisting marshmallows.

Oh! How about some local stand-up comedy!

You can click on Parts 2 and 3 after that.

I saw this a long time ago but didn't share it, so here it is.

Pure genius. Lol.

After what seemed like ages, prelims are finally ending! I've got one last paper on Tuesday! Whoo!

Chemistry paper was terribly screwed. I don't even want to get it back.

Today's E. Geog was kinda screwed too, since I practically threw away 5 whole marks. That's not even including my unfinished lorms answer. Pfft, whatever.

What's up with everybody getting new phones these days! I want a new phone too and I want an iPod touch! Sister has it and it's uber fun. :D
My nano's 2GB memory is getting too small, I have to uncheck songs on my itunes now. ):

And everyone's talking about the Taylor Swift incident at the VMA. Poor Taylor Swift, bad Kanye West.

Oh oh oh! Remember Kevin Skinner?

He is officially the new winner of America's Got Talent!
Even though he is a singer, I'm happy he won. (:

5:37 PM

Sunday, September 13, 2009

Look at the time!

My family's asleep now and the house is soooo quiet.
I'm proud to say that I've read through my whole chemistry textbook. I remember not using it since early last year, which means I've left it untouched for more than a year!

But how does reading through the whole textbook help? I don't know. I just wanted to make myself do something that can at least be categorised under STUDYING.

Sister and I made a random voice recording this afternoon. Totally random okay. I'll put it up if/when I can.
Today was such a workout! We went jogging round the neighbourhood, washed Mom's car and I did planks. I've been doing planks on a regular basis and yes, I am able to do 5 reps ever since after my first attempt. :D

Sigh. Sunday's here. Monday is Chemistry paper and I'm so gonna faillllllll.
I got a freaking D7 this term! ): I know my grades haven't been that good, but...

I seriously wonder how I'll ever qualify to be a vet.

2:36 AM

Thursday, September 10, 2009

Went to Comex at Suntec with Mom and Sis. It is PACKED! considering it's a Thursday. Sis was scouting for a new laptop and now she's comtemplating between a Sony one and a Fujitsu one.

In any case, we left the fair with nothing but a stack of brochures/flyers.

I was wondering why people didn't want to give out flyers to me. Then I saw the poor flyers in my hand that had been rolled and folded about. I suppose they didn't want their flyers to become like that too.

So, if you don't wish to take any more flyers, you know what to do. :)

We had sushi buffet at Sakae! I totally adore sushi and sashimi. :D We sat there for like 2 hours.

Sister bought GUITAR HERO 5! Omg, I didn't even know it had been released already! I thought it was only out next month or something. Sis and I were so amused at the salesman who kept saying "pray" instead of "play". Anyway, I feel so sad Guitar Hero 5 is kind of "low profile" in comparison with World Tour.

We only bought the disc though, because we didn't see the need for a THIRD guitar. Besides, we only got two wii controllers. Lol.

Photobucket

The playlist is pretty cool this time. At least there are more bands/artists that I know of. There's Blink 182, Bob Dylan, Bon Jovi, COLDPLAY!, Elton John, Iron Maiden, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Muse, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, Smashing Pumpkins, Stevie Wonder, and so on.

Then we walked over to Raffles City where Mom bought her Estee Lauder stuff and I chanced upon this dress at River Island that I totally dig for prom but cost a freaking $133. $#*%^&!

Oh well.... I can save up money for that dress or just continue searching for another.

Well, nothing much after that. Took a train to Toa Payoh where Sis bought some stationeries and I got a set of highlighters. Bought fries from Mac's, bought bubble tea and came back home at nearly 10.

Yupp, once again, no studying done.

I never fail to be unglam
Tuesday, September 08, 2009

Yesterday was fun. Met up with Claudia and yes, I was late. Blame it on the bus, which took forever to come.

We went to Plaza first where we bought caramel corn from Daiso and watched The Cove, then headed down to Vivo. First thing we did was to go to Candy Empire, because Claudia wanted her Zombie Chews so badly. And then I bought Starbursts and I'm so upset they weren't the juice filling ones I had hoped to get.

Photobucket

Claudia said I should buy the babies one because it was the only one that had juice filling. The baby-shaped gummies have RED juice filling in it! I thought that was just plain sick.

Yesterday, the evil person knew that I have an already full collection of unglam photos of me. She wanted to add more to it.

Okay, she did post almost all the pictures that we took on her blog, but I'm gonna leave some out here, because I don't like my face. I know I know! I must think: Body Peace - or Face Peace in this case, but I can't help it.

Today, I made a new discovery.

I was jogging in the evening with Sister round the neighbourhood and I saw YangTong my sec one junior!
Apparently, she lives further down the estate and we never even met!
Hahahahaha. Omg, this is so cool! I finally found a friend living in the same estate as me! This is all so new man.

Shallow water, deep secret
Monday, September 07, 2009

More people should watch this, really.

It's not an action-packed film, not a comedy, not an animation, not romance, not a chick flick. It's a simple documentary.

It's a documentary on the secret dolphin killings that happen this month every year in Taiji, Japan. Not even Japanese civilians know about this, and the world should know the truth.

The things people do for money.

I thought of the "Blood, laughing, pain, victory, blood." part in The Whale Rider, and how it not only applies to the whales, but to the plight of the dolphins as well.

The parts that moved me the most, like for Claudia, was:

1. A baby dolphin trying to swim towards the two activists, obviously heavily wounded with blood trailing behind it. After bobbing in and out of the water, it finally stopped and never surfaced again. The two helpless activists went back to the car crying, with the Japanese fishermen laughing, gloating.

2. Ric O'Barry walked into the conference room of the IWC with a TV strapped to him, on it playing a video of the dolphin killings. After being chased out, he stood in the middle of a street teemed with people, effectively attracting attention.

At that point, when he went into the conference room, I couldn't help but shed a tear. I was so moved by his stubborn bravery and fierce passion for what he's doing, even after being arrested countless times.

Hats off to him, and all the people who were with him in the film.

And I was pleasantly surprised that there was quite a number of people in the same theatre as us today.

I hope there'll be more films like this.

TFD = HTF?
Sunday, September 06, 2009

Wow how fast Sunday's come and going again.

Today, I caught The Final Destination with my family.

Which means that for the record, I snuck into an M18 show when I'm not even officially 16 yet! Beat that!

And that also means I. look. OLD. Damn it! D:

Anyway, it was gruesome, but not in the spine-chilling/terrifying way. More like ridiculously gruesome, like Happy Tree Friends. I mean, you would feel scared watching people getting killed, but after that you'll be amused because it is just that impossible.

When you're meant to die, you'll die no matter how you try to escape.

I think I'm finally getting the hang of thriller shows.

Number 889
Monday, August 31, 2009

Stuck in my head: I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas

I just realised this is my 889th post. My previous was number 888. Oooooh, auspicious.

I like today.

This year's teacher's day celebrations was quite fun. It was in the DFTL concept, teachers edition. Too bad we couldn't really hear any of the teachers' singing voices, other than LJK.
Still, it was so amusing, especially when the maths teachers chose to sing ABBA's Money, Money, Money and they kept saying that they only know how to count money and not sing about money. Rofl.

Celebrations ended at 9am. Sec 4s could go home after that. Yay! I didn't prepare gifts for any teachers. I'll give them after O's or something.

Yupp, so I went home, memorised some standard phrases for oral, then went to nap till 12.30. Mom came back with sushi for lunch!
Then it was back to prepping for oral.

Left house at 4.20 then Jiaxin called me saying it's supposed to be my turn now. Like, what?! My timeslot is supposed to be 4.45. So mom sped the way there and I ran in only to find that there was still Beatrice who was going before me and Jean was still in the room conversing. Hurried for nothing. -_-

Passage was not bad. I don't remember stumbling over any words. Anyway, the passage was, I believe, an excerpt from Harry Potter. I was very amused when I saw that there was Harry and Hagrid and Tante (Aunt) Petunia.

Herr Spindler was very very nice. Sehr nett. I didn't even feel nervous when I was conversing. I really really must thank my lucky stars that he asked me about my future plans/dream job. Because the others told me that he was either going to ask about that or Medien und Kommunikation - media and communication - which is probably the most difficult topic EVER.

So, yay. It's over! I hope the o levels examiner would be like Herr Spindler.

After that, I walked over to J8 to meet Mom and Sis. Did quite a lot of shopping. Mom got herself a pair of sandals at Charles and Keith. Then went to shop for Sister's eye drops at Watson's and I got myself eyedrops too, because I've been experiencing dry/tired eyes these days.
Then Mom bought me a swimsuit! Can finally go swimming now. Yay! :D
We had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market. Sister paid for it. Then we did some grocery shopping and came back home.

I like today. (:

Internet ist mein Leben
Sunday, August 30, 2009

Smackthatt's back for a brief moment before she detaches herself from the virtual world once again.

Thanks to WanYee, she made me start on this new anime called Kuroshitsuji which is really nice. I like it because it's dark and funny combined. A little like... Vampire Knight?
YES I KNOW I SHOULD BE STUDYING, WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WATCHING ANIME, WHY AM I EVEN STARTING ON NEW FACEBOOK GAMES LIKE COUNTRY STORY AT THIS TIME?

God, I hate myself.

I tried doing planks earlier on. I had no idea how difficult it was. It's supposed to be 5 reps, but I gave up after 3. Pathetic. Slowly, but surely, I'll make it to 5. And I'll have my flat tummy. :D

German Oral is tomorrow. I really really hope something easy like Freizeit or Traumberuf comes out. For the non-German learners, it means "free time" and "dream job".

Well, good luck to me!

11:17 PM

this ain't goodbye
Monday, August 24, 2009

English oral was okay. I mean, the topic wasn't hard to respond to. Just kinda stumbled on my reading. The only part that could help give me some plus points.
One of the examiners kept dozing off. I have no idea if it was for real or not. And no, the problem doesn't lie with me. Even happened when it was Trella's turn. I found it very annoying.

Anyway, prelims are starting on Wednesday. I have to seriously cut down on my laptop usage. I'm coming online more often than I should. Totally no self-control.

To my faithful readers, I'm gonna leave this blog stagnant until I feel like posting/have the time to post.

I shall end off with inspiring lyrics, by Miley Cyrus. LOL.

I can almost see it
That dream I am dreaming
But there's a voice inside my head saying
"You'll never reach it"

Every step I'm taking
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking

But I gotta keep trying
Gotta keep my head held high

There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb

The struggles I'm facing
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes might knock me down
But no, I'm not breaking

I may not know it
But these are the moments that
I'm gonna remember most, yeah
Just gotta keep going

And I, I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on

'Cause there's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be a uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb, yeah!

There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Somebody's gonna have to lose

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb, yeah!

Keep on moving, keep climbing
Keep the faith, baby
It's all about, it's all about the climb
Keep the faith, keep your faith, whoa

So until who-knows-when, toodles! (:

I think I'm fated to NOT have Adidas shoes.

Last time, I bought a pair online. I got it and found out some freaking idiot put two left shoes in the box. Like how am I supposed to wear them? So I had to send them back and never see it again. And even pay for the shipping fee. Like wtf. I really liked that design okay. ):

And now, even though I'm willing to part with 50 bucks, the shoes I wanted is bloody out of stock.

Total injustice!
But nevermind, it's okay. I shall go find some other nice non-Adidas shoes. Although I have been wanting a pair of Adidas shoes for so long.

Mom doesn't wanna buy shoes for me because she says I've got so many. She doesn't realise that the only shoes I ever wear are my school shoes, my old Nike shoes and Puma shoes. HOW CAN YOU CALL THAT MANY?!?!

Tomorrow is my English oral!

And it's 3 days to prelims! I'm in deep shit.

Mom's Birthday
Thursday, August 20, 2009

It was all quite last minute, because I had to be at school the whole day and there was German till 6.45pm. Sis and I wanted to take Mom out for dinner but Mom said she wanted to watch Singapore Idol and America's Got Talent. So we ordered KFC.
I also messaged Dad during school to remind him of her birthday and buy a birthday cake home. Which he brought back in the afternoon. That wasn't what Sis and I had in plan. -_-

Dad came back home again at 11, so we cut cake at that time. I was eating CAKE at midnight! Urghh, there goes my fat loss (not weight loss) plan.

And for the record, we cut cake in the parents' room. It had always been the living room.

Dad pretending it's his birthday. (And yes, this is probably the first time you'll see how my Dad looks like. Even my oldest friend hasn't met my dad before)

I think Dad's a little tipsy that night.

LOL. This was accidental. I swear. But it never fails to crack me up :D

I have awesome hair. -_-

Sis being crazy as usual.

"I haven't blow the candle yet, still ask me to cut cake!"

The cause of the accumulating fats around my abdomen. Yay.

It looks like it's all strawberry-ish, but really, there's blueberry jam in the layers.

Mom's birthday is TOMORROW! The bad news is Sis and I haven't got anything in plan!

Birthday present, what to buy for her? She practically already has everything she needs.

Oh man oh man oh man oh man

P.S. I dared myself to watch Orphan on Saturday with Sis. Nothing to do with the supernatural at all. The twist, which wasn't exactly a twist but I can't find any other suitable word, was interesting. Isabelle Fuhrman did a great job.

Today has been rather, eh, productive.

I just did filing because I couldn't stand my file being so freaking thick and heavy and it was about time I did anyway. My file now is one third it's previous weight and thickness now (or at least half). Yay!

And before that, I decided to do the situational writing practices in point form. I did 9 at a go and now I'm left with 4. So that's great.

And before that, I worked out a little on WiiFit. Because if I want to look at least not flabby on graduation night I should start now. Otherwise it'll be too late if I were to start only in November.

Blackheads are awful. Even Mom says I've got so many and she put facial mask on for me just now. Lol.

Tomorrow I'm gonna force myself to do German homework, finish the situational writing, geog practice paper, electrolysis questions and maybe revise chem. All that IF my will allows.
I don't wanna fail chem again. I hate the idea of failing when I know I did put in effort.

10 days or so to prelims. So not prepared for this.
